How it All Began
Hey hey! I’m Daneshé (duh NEE shay) Henry. I’m a marketer born and raised in Brooklyn, with deep family roots in Trinidad & Tobago. Through a fortunate series of events, I’ve landed in the Bay Area am currently relearning & redefining the concept of home.
Fun Facts
When I’m not busy taking the marketing world by storm, you can find me doing all sorts of fun stuff. I’m a total wellness enthusiast, always trying out new recipes, not allowing my juicer to rest, camping out at the lagree studio, and uncovering new ways to live a full life. I also view style as an art form, I’m always on the hunt for the latest fashion trends and niche retailers – I’m all about keeping using style as a marker of individuality.
Travel is another big passion of mine, and I make it a goal to visit at least one new country every year. There’s nothing like immersing yourself in a new culture, trying new foods, and experiencing all the amazing things this world has to offer.
So that’s me in a nutshell. Thanks for getting to know me a little better!

A bit more about my background
I’m a proud graduate of the Wharton School of Business at UPenn, and I’ve put my degree to work in a variety of marketing roles. From large companies like NBCUniversal to the agency world at Cogent Entertainment Marketing, I’ve always held an interest in blending storytelling and strategy to create unique consumer experiences.
One of my proudest accomplishments is The Chroma Network, a publication that I ran from 2019-2022 which celebrates diversity and creativity in all its forms. It’s been an incredible journey, and it’s taught me a lot about the power of shared interests in building community as a catalyst for in-person experiences.
I’m now taking these interests with me in a new venture as the co-founder of Promenade, a community-based brand for women connecting them to their local areas, themselves, and each other.
